Confused?

Some friends have given me their DW names, and I've done both directory searches and community searches to find them, but they keep coming up with no results. 

I know one just started an account, so it might take a while to show, but the other is an older account that should be well integrated into the system.

What is the correct way to search out accounts by name?

There's a little search box up top, and next to it is another box where "Interest" is selected. Use the arrow to select "Site and Account" and then hit Go.

also, if you know their username, you can put in their username in the URL, like perpetuallyvex.dreamwidth.org :) and that should take you directly to their page.

I've also gone into the "sherlock" interest tag to look for familiar names.
